You've got to be in it to win it and Chris Long wasn't about to be left out of Wednesday's record-setting $1.5 billion Powerball.
The Rams defensive lineman, sporting an incognito look, was approached by a local news crew yesterday during the frenzied run-up to the drawing and while one of his dreams would soon be crushed, he was blessed to realize another one.
Long, who will enter the 2016 season in the last year of a 4-year, $48 million dollar deal with the relocating Rams, had a hilarious answer when asked he'd do with the billion dollar bounty.
Long wasn't the only professional athlete to buy a Powerball ticket. Carmelo Anthony, who said he would have shared the winnings, was among those that threw away their money on the lottery. Better luck next time, guys.
