Dennis Rodman is denying claims he slapped a man at Buddha Sky Bar on May 17 while celebrating his birthday, TMZ reports. The publication spoke to the former NBA Star in Orange County, California about it all.

Jeff Soulouque is accusing Rodman of slapping him at the Delray Beach, Florida establishment. Soulouque claims that Rodman "unprovokedly turned around and smacked him." Police are investigating the alleged incident after Soulouque filed a report. The man who was allegedly slapped says that Rodman apologized to him and invited him to dinner so as to make amends.

"I was like, 'What is your problem?'" Soulouque explained to the South Florida Sun Sentinel. "It was out of nowhere. He just hit me and I was blindsided and he started charging me." The man claims he suffered a corneal abrasion.

"I've spoken with people who were with Dennis the entire night of the alleged incident at Buddha Sky Bar," Lorne Berkeley, Rodman's attorney, previously said. "No one saw any such incident occur and Dennis was sober the entire night [...] Currently the matter is in its preliminary stages but we fully expect after a thorough investigation that no such incident will be substantiated. Dennis denies any such incident occurred."

New of the slapping incident comes on the heels of Rodman and his associates being accused of stealing more than $500 worth of clothes from a Southern California yoga studio. A person Rodman was with was also accused of breaking a crystal worth $2,500 while at the Newport Beach, CA store. Rodman has since denied the accusations. "I asked him, 'Can we get a couple of gifts for us and stuff like that?' And the guy said yes," Rodman said when asked by TMZ. "And they call it a heist because guess what? They're broke."
