Ray Lewis Dragged for Saying Odell Beckham Jr. Has 'Removed God From His Life'

Ray Lewis' Christian faith is no secret. He brought it up frequently during his decorated 17-year career with the Baltimore Ravens. After a dramatic 2013 AFC semifinals win against Denver, Lewis famously quoted Isaiah 54:17.

Lewis' faith is the lens through which he sees everything in life, so it should come as no surprise that when he was asked for his opinion on Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who has had quite an offseason, Lewis mentioned God.

Lewis shared his perspective on Beckham during an appearance on FOX Sports 1's The Herd with Colin Cowherd Monday.

"Where there's no God, there's chaos," Lewis said. He added that he thinks Beckham "has removed God from his life."

Lewis said he had a relationship with Beckham early in the talented receiver's career, but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. Beckham "started to distance himself a little more, a little more and a little more," Lewis said.

Lewis had more to say about Beckham during an appearance on Speak for Yourself.

OBJ responded on Instagram late Monday.

"The foundation was installed at birth," he captioned a clip of him and loved ones praying. "We will survive and prevail … ALWAYS. God willing."
