No matter how nice Kevin Durant was about it, and no matter how clearly he was torn up over his decision to leave Oklahoma City, some Thunder fans were going to inevitably be salty. Now, a local sporting goods store is taking the salt to a new level.

Academy Sports+Outdoors in Oklahoma City is selling Durant’s Thunder jerseys for 48 cents – an astonishing 99 percent off – according to ESPN. Durant’s jerseys normally go for $70.

If you’re hoping to rush to the store, bad news: ESPN’s Darren Rovell reports the jerseys have already sold out.

A spokesperson for the store told Rovell that – shockingly – the sale was unusually dramatic. Other Durant merchandise in the sale was less steeply discounted.

Rovell posted that another store is selling the jerseys for 35 cents (a reference to Durant's jersey No. 35) with one purchase of $35.

It seems very unlikely that this was a desperate move to rush the inventory out the door; people definitely would’ve paid a few bucks for a Durant Thunder jersey even a year or two from now. There had to be some bitterness involved in the decision to price them that low.

I mean, even Johnny Manziel’s Cleveland Browns jerseys are selling for $1.99, while Andrew Bynum Sixers jerseys are garnering $3.

If you want a new KD Warriors jersey, you’re going to have to pony up $70. While this seems ridiculous – it is – at least they’re not burning Durant’s jersey. Wait, what’s tha –
