Back in January, London-based pop auteur Taura released her debut EP Lucky Girls and now she's returning to the bouncy title track with some stylish new visuals. An accomplished singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Taura writes, records and produces all her own music, crafting each track with an undiluted vision.
"Lucky Girls", like the rest of the EP, is a sultry and smoky piece of pop-minded R&B with touches of Ariana Grande and Dua Lipa thrown into the effortlessly stylish mix. Matching that tone perfectly, the video (produced and directed by London-based Moon) frames Taura in clean, minimalist settings that make maximum use of bold colour palettes.
A calmly-executed piece of poppy R&B, "Lucky Girls" is a welcome antidote to the growing chaos around us.
