Polyana Viana of Brazil prepares to fight JJ Aldrich in their women's strawweight fight.

Strawweight Polyana Viana is 1-1 inside the UFC octagon and 1-0 this year against street thieves. She improved her latter record on Saturday when a robber threatened Viana for her phone when she was outside of her place waiting for an Uber in Rio de Janeiro.

Viana did not give him her phone. The man even claimed he had a gun, but Viana thought he was lying. "He was really close to me. So I thought, ‘If it’s a gun, he won’t have time to draw it,'" she told MMA Junkie.

The attacker would not have the chance to draw his non-existent gun. Viana says she gave him two punches, a kick, and a rear naked choke to subdue him until the police arrived. From the looks of the arrest photo, without context, it looks like the police came to save the attacker.

“I was fine because he didn’t even react after," Viana said. "Since he took the punches very quickly, I think he was scared. So he didn’t react anymore. He told me to let him go, like ‘I just asked for the time.’ I said, ‘Asked for the time my ass,’ because he saw I was very angry. I said I wouldn’t let go and that I was going to call the police.
