Kyrie Irving plays like a video-game character come to life. With his lightning quickness, incomparable handles, and absurd ability to finish off the backboard, it's not a stretch to say we've never seen anything like Irving in the NBA before.
For those reasons, NBA 2K fans often turn to Irving's Boston Celtics when selecting their squad. Similarly, Irving only plays as his own squad, he shared in a recent appearance on Bill Simmons' podcast.
.@KyrieIrving likes to keep things realistic when it comes to playing @NBA2K, which is why he only plays with the #Celtics.— The Ringer (@ringer) June 18, 2018

Kyrie was on the cover of NBA 2K18, but that doesn't mean he loves everything about the game. He takes issue with two things: how the game depicted his hair and his player's rating. The discussion begins around the 50-minute mark, as Simmons asked if there was anything wrong with Irving's 2K character.
"My hair, man," Irving answered. "They gave me like I was losing my hair, the back of my hair. I was like, 'Bro, I'm not losing my hair.'"
Kyrie also recalled being frustrated with the game initially listing him as a 90 overall.
"They also completely disrespected me in terms of giving me a 90," Irving said. "I was just like, 'Bro, how am I gonna be the cover athlete and I'm a 90?'"
The updated version of the game has him at a 93. Irving said he's comfortable as long as he's rated over a 90. Listen to the fascinating full interview here.
