Kevin Durant Ethers His 'Trash' Critics for Sliding Into His DMs

Kevin Durant is not here for your criticism.

The Golden State Warriors are living life these days. After tearing it up at Steph Curry's incredibly lit 30th birthday party, Golden State canceled practice.

Warriors just announced they canceled practice today. Everyone in recovery mode after Curry's 30th.

As The Ringer's Bill Simmons noted, the Warriors don't seem too hell-bent on chasing Houston's claim on the No. 1 seed in the West.

The Warriors are doing everything short of actually telling Houston, “Enjoy the 1-seed, we know we can win a Game 7 in your house.” https://t.co/gpbD5rpP57

The Warriors have played on cruise control this season and still hold the No. 2 seed in the highly competitive West. They're just doing what they want right now.

Kevin Durant has never been shy to speak his mind, as we've learned from his repeated appearances on Simmons' podcast and his excellent YouTube channel, but Durant was especially bold Monday night. He posted an Instagram story calling out his critics.

"Stop sliding in my DMs telling me how to hoop," Durant posted. "You’re trash, have a nice day."

Durant also shot back at trolls on Twitter after he liked Richard Sherman's tweet about signing with the 49ers.

u mad I liked a post on Twitter? Really bruh?
C'mon @KDTrey5 you have no business liking that tweet. OKC didn't fire you. You left like a cupcake on your own to ride the coattails of Curry. pic.twitter.com/NXK8Nwex6u

Tell us how you really feel, KD. Durant is averaging 26.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.9 blocks per game.
