In the latest development in the Monday morning NYC nightclub fight involving Matt Barnes and DeMarcus Cousins, the alleged victims of the altercation have sued the Sacramento Kings teammates.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit was filed by Jasmine Besiso and Myrone Powell in New York this week. Besiso claims that she was hanging out with her friend Powell and a group of others before she was choked, and that Cousins intervened during the fracas as Powell attempted to save his friend Besiso from Barnes' wrath. Powell states that Cousins then proceeded to punch him in the face, and that Barnes subsequently released his grip on Besiso's neck and elbowed in her face, which knocked her out cold. Lastly, the suit claims that Barnes and Cousins began to kick and punch Powell in the head and body.

The representative for the alleged victims defends their claims that the attacks from Barnes and Cousins were "vicious and unprovoked." The rep says that Cousins hit Powell with a "blindside punch," and that Besiso and Powell were taken via ambulance to a nearby hospital to be treated for their "serious injuries."

Barnes maintains his innocence, and his attorneys claims that he acted in self-defense.
