We said it once back in June, but it’s worth repeating again: Petty LeBron is our favorite LeBron. LeBron James is already a legend, but when he decides to, say, hop off the Cavaliers’ team plane following his team’s Game 7 NBA Finals win over the Warriors wearing—OMG—an Ultimate Warrior T-shirt? Well, that just makes the legend even more legendary.

LeBron got petty again on Monday when he took to Instagram to show off a new hat he just got. If you remember, LeBron spent the last few days of the Finals walking around in a hat that featured Kermit sipping tea on the front of it. He also wore the hat while addressing his critics in a lengthy Instagram post he put up after the Finals. And now, he’s got a championship version of that hat, complete with Kermit (in a crown and a Cavs jersey!) sipping from the Larry O’Brien Trophy, which is just…so petty. And so good.

Oh, and just in case that first photo wasn’t petty enough, LeBron also put up a second one that showed him smiling, just to really drive home the point:

We’re guessing the Warriors won’t be too thrilled to see this side of LeBron, but people on Twitter sure love it. Here’s what some of them had to say after seeing the return of Petty LeBron:

I like this petty Lebron the best. I will need that championship edition kermit hat.

Between this hat and all of the Instagram Stories he put up over the weekend, LeBron's social media game is definitely in playoff form right now.
