For the first time in nearly six years, Shane McMahon returned to WWE Raw tonight, opening the show in spectacular and truly surprising fashion. Just as Vince McMahon was presenting his daughter Stephanie with the "Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award," Shane's entrance music came on to the delight of the entire Joe Louis Arena crowd.

With the "Chicago" Air Jordan 1 Highs on his feet, Shane revealed he cut a deal with his father which allowed him to take time off, adding that he never lost his place in line.

Now, Shane wants control of Monday Night Raw and the WWE. However, Vince will only allow that to happen if Shane defeats The Undertaker in a Hell in the Cell match at WrestleMania 32

As WWE Raw went to a commercial break, Shane thanked the audience for the warm welcome, admitting, "My nipples are hard, I am excited."
