Peyton Manning just couldn't resist.

With news coming down Wednesday that Al Jazeera America will shut down operations in April, Manning was asked to comment on the cable new channel's impending demise.

Peyton Manning on news Al-Jazeera America shutting down: "I'm sure that's just devastating to all their viewers." Yes, he was sarcastic.

Manning, of course, has denied allegations made by Al Jazeera in December that he used HGH during his days with the Colts. The channel, which reportedly struggled to attract 30,000 viewers for its prime time programming, debuted the documentary The Dark Side: The Secret of the Sports Dopers that claimed Manning received shipments of the banned substance from an Indianapolis clinic that were addressed to his wife.
