Unfortunately, it’s not all that strange to hear about NFL players suffering concussions. Hell, there’s a movie called Concussion dropping tomorrow that details the NFL’s concussion problem. But it is strange to hear about an NFL player suffering a concussion…in the shower.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Falcons running back Tevin Coleman slipped in the shower yesterday and hit his head, and he may have suffered a concussion as a result of it. He has been placed into the league’s concussion protocol program and will be evaluated throughout the week to determine if he will be able to play against the Panthers this weekend.

Coleman isn’t the first athlete to sustain a freaky injury, but what a way to get hurt.
