Did the Lionsget screwed out of a win over the Seahawks last night thanks to a missed penalty call by the game’s referees? Eh, it depends on who you ask right now.

But either way, Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor made one hell of a play at the end of the contest. He prevented Calvin Johnson from scoring a touchdown with less than two minutes remaining in the game by stripping him near the goal line and causing a touchback. It was one of the best plays that we’ve seen a defensive player make during the 2015-16 NFL season, and after the game, ESPN rewarded Chancellor by interviewing him live on the field. And that interview turned out to be almost as memorable as the play Chancellor made.

As Chancellor talked about being back with his teammates and coming through in the clutch after holding himself out of the first two games of the season due to a contract dispute, his teammate Michael Bennett popped into the frame and told Seahawks owner Paul Allen that it’s time to pay Chancellor.

“Pay him!” he yelled. “Pay him! Pay him! Paul Allen, you the 17th richest man in the world. Pay him!”

A short time later, Bennett also dropped this gem on reporters after they asked him a question about Matthew Stafford:

Michael Bennett: "I don't like Matt Stafford much. He's from Dallas. They killed the President (JFK). ... I hold it against him."

If you think the Lions should have won last night, you might not like the Seahawks very much today. But they are easily the most interesting group of players in the NFL right now.
