Remember Eddie George? The 1995 Heisman Trophy award winner. The 1996 Offensive Rookie of the Year. The four-time Pro Bowler. The former Tennessee Titans running back who graced the cover of Madden NFL 2001.
Since retiring from the NFL before the start of the 2005 season, George has taken on a couple of theatre gigs in Nashville, including the title roles in Othello and Julius Caesar. Now, starting in January, George will be taking his talents to Broadway.
After calling it quits, George struggled dealing with life after football, which he touched upon in a 60 Minutes Sports piece a few years ago.
However, it appears that George has found a home and it's one where he has clearly excelled. Keep killing it, Eddie!
