Michael Jordan Doesn't Think Anyone on the Hornets Could Beat Him in a Game of 1-on-1

MJ is probably wrong.

Michael Jordan is 52 now, which means that he's nowhere close to being in the kind of shape that he used to be in. But despite the fact that he's getting up there in age, he's still just as competitive as ever and still thinks he could hang with guys who play in the NBA today. So when he sat down for an interview with L'Equipe in Paris recently and was asked whether or not he thinks he could beat his current Hornets players in games of 1-on-1, his answer was..."yes." You're not going to see him actually try to play them anytime soon, but if he suited up and played his best, he thinks he would come out on top against anyone on the roster.

"I'm pretty sure I can [beat them] so I don't want to do that and demolish their confidence," he said. "So I stay away from them and let them think that they're good. But I'm too old to do that anyway."

The idea of MJ hanging with LeBron James in a game of 1-on-1, as Skip Bayless suggested recently, is utterly ridiculous. But could he hang with, say, Noah Vonleh? Hmmm…
