Lionel Messi showed once again this week why he’s the best player on the planet. Maybe even of all time. He’s so good, even his Barcelona teammates are in awe of him.

Speaking at a press conference for betting site PokerStars, Messi’s striker partner Neymar started singing the Argentian’s praises. In particular, he said he was speechless that Messi let him take a penalty in Barca’s 8-0 destruction of Cordoba at the weekend. Messi had already scored twice and was on his hat-trick, but offered the chance to the Brazilian (who quickly slotted it away.

“It's a detail I will never forget. He could have scored a hat-trick, but he left the penalty to me. It left me without words. I learn a lot from him, both on and off the pitch.”

He also said he’d welcome Barcelona transfer target Paul Pogba at the club, saying the Juventus midfielder "a player with a lot of quality and that would be welcome [at Barcelona]."
