On Sunday, it was basically the slap heard 'round the world. During Game 4 of the Celtics/Cavaliers series, J.R. Smith struck Jae Crowder with a spinning backfist, which resulted in a flagrant 2 and an automatic ejection. One day later, the NBA has responded to Smith's actions with a two-game suspension without pay.

The league also suspended Kelly Olynyk...

If you are feeling a bit of deja vu over the Smith suspension announcement, it may be due to the fact that in 2013, the former New York Knicks guard was hit with a one-game suspension after elbowing Jason Terry in the face.
