J.R. Smith Ejected After Hitting the Celtics' Jae Crowder With a No-Look Punch

J.R. Smith was sent home early after striking the Celtics' Jae Crowder in the face.

Not again, J.R. Smith. Not again. You would think that after what happened to him when he elbowed Jason Terry during the 2013 NBA Playoffs (against the Boston Celtics of all teams), Smith would know that he cannot lose his cool in the postseason. But J.R. has done it again.

During today's Game 4 contest against the Celtics, Smith and Jae Crowder were jockeying for position in the paint when the Cavaliers shooting guard took a backhanded swing at the face of the Celtics small forward. Swish was slapped with a flagrant 2 and ejected from the game. Crowder also needed to be taken to the locker room after the incident, but it was for a sprained left knee injury he sustained after falling to the court.

It was a long day for Crowder who was also leveled by the Cavaliers' Kendrick Perkins on a screen play.

Now, even though the Celtics have been eliminated from the playoffs, we now wait to see the punishment coming Smith's way.
