Yesterday morning footage hit the web of Wayne Rooney being knocked out whilst sparring with Stoke defender Phil Bardsley. Rooney responded to the embarrassment with style, scoring in Manchester United’s 3-0 victory over Tottenham that afternoon, and celebrating by throwing few hooks then going down to the floor.
