Earlier this week, Bleacher Report writer Mike Freeman wrote a piece about the troubles inside the Seattle Seahawks locker room, including speculation of a rift between Russell Wilson and certain black teammates on the team who believe the Seahawks quarterback "isn't black enough." Following the 'Hawks 13-9 win over the Carolina Panthers, Wilson decided to utilize his time with the media to clear the air.

1.

Russell Wilson: "Not black enough? I don't even know what that means. I think I'm an educated male trying to lead this team."

2.

Nobody asked specifically. He brought it up. Reference to report last week. RT @DiningwithDave: Whoever asked that question should be fired.

Clearly, this issue was something that Wilson needed to discuss and get off his chest. Hopefully, after pulling out a tough win today, the Seahawks can focus on building on their success and ignore the ridiculous questions existing off the field.
