Yesterday, the Los Angeles Lakers held their media day, welcoming in a horde of reporters to speak with the team's new roster of talent. Kobe Bryant, Jeremy Lin, Julius Randle and the rest of the squad were on-hand to speak with the press, but perhaps the biggest star of the day was Nick Young, or as we all know him, Swaggy P.

The charismatic shooting guard had a lot to say about his summer, as well as his expectations for the upcoming season, speaking in a breezy, comfortable tone throughout his entire conversation with the media.

For instance, during the Q&A, Young revealed the nicknames he's asking the Los Angeles rookies to call him: "Daddy Swag" and "Uncle Swag".

"This a family affair here," Young said, laughing. "And it's a part of their rookie duties. I gotta start 'em off with something. They killed me my rookie year."

However, arguably the greatest moment of the afternoon took place when Young casually suggested he would try to win the MVP this year. And the Sixth Man of the Year. And the Most Improved Player of the Year. And the Defensive Player of the Year.

"I got robbed for last year," said Young. "I might take a couple charges, dive out of bounds like Dennis Rodman, get the fans involved. I gotta do something crazy."

Young also spoke about the new contract he signed with the Lakers over the offseason, the brief doubts he had being able to re-sign with the team, and playing against Kobe Bryant in 5-on-5 match-ups during the summer. You can watch the full interview session above.
