According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Philadelphia Eagles got a very early start to their day today as they prepare to take on the San Francisco 49ers this afternoon:

In a game that is, functionally, a must win for the 1-2 49ers, the home team now has a distinct advantage at least in the rest department. Whether that will make a difference in the actual play on the field, however, remains to be seen.
