Clint Dempsey is not giving up on his hip-hop dream.
The Seattle Sounders striker was a guest at last night's FIFA 15 launch party in New York and to make the occasion, his alter ego 'Deuce' took to the stage with rapper XO for a performance of his new single 'Hot Fire'.
Reportedly, Clint Dempsey spent time before the World Cup to record a 13-track album called "The Redux" which is set to drop sometime over the next couple of months.
It's not the first time that the two stars hopefuls have come together.
Yeah, XO was also the guy behind Dempsey's rap debut.
It's hardly John Barnes and New World Order...
