Patriots coach Bill Belichick is just about the last person who should be making fun of anyone's sense of style. The guy has been wearing the same tired hoodie for the better part of the last decade. But earlier today, during his daily press conference, Belichick took aim at a reporter for wearing a pair of golf shoes.

The reporter—who was later identified as CSNNE.com Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran—tried to tell Belichick that he was in such a rush to get to the press conference that he forget to put on shoes this morning and was forced to throw on his golf shoes. But Belichick wasn't buying it and it led to a pretty funny exchange between the two men.

"Going golfing today, Tom?" Belichick asked.

"I left my house without my shoes," Curran replied, before taking a shot at Belichick's outfit. "I have never seen this arrangement, by the way. With the gingham [shirt] under the pullover, so…"

"We're talking about your style," Belichick shot back, "not mine."

"You're in flip flops," Curran said. "I have to work today. This is an oversight because I have to find out what happened to your damn quarterback so I ran outta the house."

Ha. It was entertaining, to say the least, and might go down as one of the best moments in Belichick press conference history. That isn't saying a whole lot, seeing as how Belichick's press conferences are typically the equivalent of watching paint dry. But watch the video above anyway. It's nice to see Belichick having some fun during a press conference for a change.
