The Pacers get some props for making it to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second year in a row. But between Roy Hibbert forgetting how to play basketball, nearly losing to the Hawks in the first round, Lance Stephenson's foolery, and losing to the Heat in the playoffs for the third straight time, the organization can't be too thrilled with its progress.

Many speculated that head coach Frank Vogel may get the boot after the collapse toward the end of the season. That's not true; Vogel's job is safe, according to Yahoo! Sports' sources. In fact, getting rid of him wasn't even part of the plans.

It's a stretch, but the news might not bode well for Stephenson and his future with the team (he's up for free agency this summer). The Pacers have been aiming to topple the Heat for a while, and it's obviously they're not going to do so with the same, inconsistent pieces.
