Keating Claims A New Supercar Will Do 340 MPH

Does it also shart rainbows and bring the Tasmanian tiger back from the dead?

The oddly named and upcoming Keating The Bolt will allegedly be amazing. The company is claiming that it will hit 60 mph in 2.0 seconds even and top out at a fantastical sounding 340 mph. Bugatti spent untold millions and invented a new kind of wind tunnel in order to get the Veyron to do 253 mph. Right now, the fastest car in the world is the Veyron Super Sport at 267 mph with 1,200 horsepower.

Air resistence goes up logarithmically as speed increases as well, so by our estimates, the one tuned Chevy LS7 that keating uses won't be nearly enough. We're thinking the company will need to fit at least six of them in The Bolt.

We'll believe this when pigs fly at Mach 4.
