Kobe Bryant Out Indefinitely With Severe Ankle Sprain

With the Los Angeles Lakers still fighting for a playoff spot with only 16 games remaining, the last thing they could afford was a costly injury, especially to their best player, Kobe Bryant. But, that is exactly what happened during tonight's game against the Atlanta Hawks. With only seconds remaining, Bryant went up for a shot and landed on the foot of his defender, which caused KB to writhe around in pain on the hardwood.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Bryant was seen limping through the locker room and X-rays came back negative, however, the diagnosis was a severe left ankle sprain which will keep him out of action indefinitely. Check out the play that caused it all below.
