Nothing of note ever happens at the Montreal International Auto Show. This is because it's always scheduled for the same week as the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, which is one of the handful of genuinely important events in any given year. Honda either has a sense of humor or wanted to throw us all for a curve-ball, because the company unveiled this very slick city car concept in Montreal.

Honda says that the Gear Concept was inspired by fixies, and was designed to be "practical but fun, customizable, connected and affordable" and went on to say that that is "everything that young, discerning urban buyers would want in a car." Sadly, since no members of the automotive media seem to have attended the MIAS and Honda's press release might have set an industry record for succinctness, we'll have to wait and see if Honda would like to enlighten us further as to what kind of customization options are built into the car and what makes it "connected."
