Outside of appreciating what he can do on the football field, we fux with Terrell Suggs here at Complex Sports for a number of different reasons. From the fact that he took Jay-Z's "Ball so hard" line from "N***** In Paris" and turned it into a T-shirt line to the fact that he lists totallyfuckingawesome.com as his website on his Twitter page[Ed. Note: That's not his actual website, though it would be, well, totally fucking awesome if it was.] there are a lot of reasons to love the guy. So, we're sad to hear that Suggs—last year's NFL Defensive Player of the Year—probably won't be playing at all during the 2012 NFL season.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Suggs tore his Achilles tendon recently while playing basketball. He'll have surgery sometime next week to repair the Achilles, but these types of injuries often take up to a year to heal. Add that to the fact that Suggs is 30 and there's a good chance that we'll never see him have a year as productive as the one that he just had. Sooo…yeah. It sucks. Get well soon, Suggs.
