The Shelby GT500 has gotten quite a few updates for 2013, not the least of which is a new supercharger that will pull 650 horsepower out of the engine. Understandably, the entire powertrain has been upgraded to match this massive amount of power.

In order to make sure this 650 horse monster doesn't just simply kill everyone who attempts to drive it, SVT design Blistien dampers and a Torsen limited-slip differential will be available in the GT500 Performance Pack. A track package will also be available that will provide cooling upgrades where they are needed.

Believe it or not, Ford says the Gas Guzzler tax will not apply here.
