Chef David Fuñe combines French cooking techniques with flavors from across the globe to create innovative fare. The emphasis at Vizzi is on healthy bistro cuisine rather than greasy comfort food. Gourmet sliders on grilled Hawaiin buns ($9 for 3) are the go-to menu item and come in four varieties: jidori chicken, chickpea, portabella mushroom, and our favorite by far, BBQ-braised Waygu beef. Mildly addictive white truffle popcorn with little bits of fig is served on the side with most of Vizzi's dishes. Some entrees change by season. If available, the Bacon Grilled Cheese featuring Swiss, caramelized onion, bleu-bacon fondue, and winter tomato ($9) is super yummy. As an added bonus, Vizzi comes with its own entertainment. Independent musicians and exclusive DJs play tunes from the truck, and flat-screen televisions show short film clips from up-and-coming producers and directors.
