Nike plans to release several Off-White versions of the Air Force 1 next year, a sneaker industry source tells Complex. The brand’s 2023 slate includes an Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 in April and then two more pairs of Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mids in June. These release windows are subject to change—plans around when sneakers will launch have been volatile in the past two years on account of global supply chain issues.

Complex has not seen any images of the 2023 pairs, and the sneaker shown here is a previous Off-White x Nike Air Force 1. This summer, images circulated of an unreleased Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid featuring graffiti text on its upper, but it’s unclear if that’s one of the pairs slated for release next year.

Nike did not respond to a request for comment on the upcoming Off-White shoes.

The brand was one of the most important partners of Off-White founder Virgil Abloh, who died in November 2021 after a battle with a rare form of cancer. Nike has released several Off-White collaborations since his death, and this year issued a collection of Air Force 1s made with Louis Vuitton, where Abloh was artistic director of menswear. Per the brand’s SNKRS app, it’s planning next week to drop a green version of the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low.

In the wake of his passing, Nike has worked with Abloh’s estate and his wife Shannon to approve the release of ongoing Off-White x Nike projects. Per a source at Nike, the brand plans to carry out and launch all the designs he’d finished before his passing.
