It was almost exactly a year ago that Jordan Brand released its Mexico-inspired "El Grito" Air Jordan 5, and now the brand continues to celebrate Mexican and Latin American culture with its latest Jordan 3 colorway.
Shown here is the "El Vuelo" Air Jordan 3 that's scheduled to release later this month. The sneaker dons the colors of the Mexican flag, featuring a predominantly white upper with updated overlay panels at the sides that appear to be inspired by the designs of Lucador masks. Replacing the traditional elephant print panels at the forefoot and heel are red snakeskin-inspired prints, while faux green snakeskin covers the collar. Additional details include gold Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel tab.
The "El Vuelo" Air Jordan 3 is slated to drop on Sept. 20 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $230. Scroll on for a closer look at the sneaker below.
