Which 'Posite To Bring Back?

When I first considered which Nike Posite model would be best to bring back, I immediately felt like none would be worthy.

There's the often overlooked Ultraposite, or the Flightposite III, which would make for the perfect return of coveted colorways such as the 'Platinumposite' edition. But even those models might not be worthy. And it has nothing to do with the greatness of each of these models, my view is based more on how much Nike Sportswear has utilized Posite over the past few years. In my eyes, we've seen just a bit too many over the past few years.

One Posite model I feel is most deserving definitely has to be the model that started it all, the 'Neon Royal' Air Foamposite One. It's worthy enough based on the fact that they paved the way for a slew of Foamposite based models that are still releasing to this day. 

Believe it or not, although they've already been reissued twice since their original release back in 1997, there's still a younger generation of collectors that have never had a shot at the original colorway of the Air Foamposite One. Most of these kids' idea of the Air Foamposite One are based on the graphic-covered looks released over the past few years. They likely also don't know much about the importance of the original colorway, or Penny Hardaway's influence behind Nike Basketball's iconic model. A re-release of the original Air Foamposite One would be a perfect way to share that story with this younger generation in today's modern age of Instagram, blog posts and NikeInc.com's own storytelling platform.

Regardless of my reasoning, a retro release of the original Air Foamposite One would always be welcomed by the sneaker community. What do you think?
