A few years ago, Nike ran an entire set of the LeBron series in all white and all black for showcase purposes, similar to the display sets that Jordan Brand had ran.
While in Beijing yesterday to help walk media through the new LeBron 11, Nike Basketball Footwear Product Director Charles Williams broke out a rarely seen pair from the LeBron White Collection and took things back to the 2005-2006 season with a pair of Zoom LeBron IIIs.
Designed by Ken Link and worn by LeBron during his first taste of the NBA Playoffs in 2006, the shoe featured caged Zoom Max units, a TPU support footbucket, a quality leather upper and Sphere lining, which desperately needs to come back. They also retailed for a mere $125.
