Who turned the light's out on the Air Jordan XX9?
As perhaps the game's greatest clutch performer of all time, Michael Jordan certainly earned the "Lights Out" reputation. Now, the tag is being applied to his 29th signature sneaker, as the Air Jordan XX9 "Blackout" is set to hit stores this weekend. Today, we are getting a detailed look at the all-black shoe. The shoe's black upper sits on top of a black midsole featuring a feint trace of Jordan Brand's iconic elephant print. Silver jump man logos, as well as a No. 23 on the heel, are the only instances of another color besides black being used on the shoe. Due to the popularity of all-black sneakers, we have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of this shoe on-court in the NBA.
