Danner celebrates the 40th Anniversary of their iconic Danner Light boot with an exclusive, limited-edition celebratory colourway.
40 years ago Danner stepped up to the plate to become the first brand to bring the weather-protected GORE-TEX material to footwear, heralding a coupling that would extend across the footwear industry to this day. Danner's experimentation with the waterproof, breathable membrane in 1979 with the introduction of the Danner Light, offering a utilitarian design that was quickly adopted by hikers and outdoor workers due to its versatility and clean aesthetic. In celebration of the iconic boots release, Danner honours its original build with a limited-edition colouring. The boots upper is crafted using an extremely durable 1000 Denier nylon and full-grain leather in Timber Brown, bordered with Black full-grain leather and a matching outsole.
