Shelf Space: Sneakers For Sale At Primitive (Encino, CA)

As we continue our mission of bringing you the insides of the best sneaker spots from around the U.S., we headed to one of our favorite shops and stopped in at Primitive, located in Encino, California. The shop's founder, Andy Netkin, gave us a look at 10 of the newest sneakers currently sitting on the store shelves. Primitive Says: "Nicknamed the Tiffany 2.5, the Azure suede paneling on this shoe reminds us of our favorite Blazer from 2008."

Primitive Says: "Nike SB gives us a remix of the Stefan Janoski by swapping out the laces with two Velcro straps. There's no way to tell if we'll ever see Velcro on this shoe again, which makes this Quickstrike that much more interesting."

Primitive Says: "It's refreshing to see Nike Sportswear giving retro runners the attention they deserve. This colorfully blocked AM90 has a nice throwback vibe."

Primitive Says: "Continuing to drive energy, the Toki comes to us in a clean black colorway with perforated accents and red highlights."

Primitive Says: "Vans and the founder of NYC's Shut Skateboards join forces to deliver a very limited release in the form of a Syndicate Old Skool."

Primitive Says: "Utilizing premium leather, plaid lining, and Castlerock canvas, this Zapato Del Barco is both casual and sophisticated at the same time."

Primitive Says: "The Busenitz has been killing it for us. This timeless white/black/gum color-up suits the shoe perfectly."

Primitive Says: "Without straying very far from their classic design approach, the Skate looks like it could've made it's debut decades ago. We like that!"

Primitive Says: "One of Gourmet's more popular styles, the Uno gets dressed up in a custom camo this time around."

Primitive Says: "With hightops not moving like they used to, Supra gives us something we can work with. Adding a modern twist to a classic silhouette, the Wrap features two-piece suede construction with a vulcanized finish."
