UPDATE (August 30, 12:19 p.m.):

According to TMZ, "Kanye and Kim heard his story and were moved ... they say if he ends up making the trade they'll give him a brand new pair of the impossible to get pricey kicks."

The sneakers, at this point, are the least of Neal's worries. It's nice to hear, though, that this story has received national attention and that help may be on the way for him.

See original story from August 27, 2015, below.

A Michigan man with failing kidneys is hoping that a pair of coveted Yeezy Boosts will literally save his life.

Sole Collector reports that 26-year-old Matt Neal of Ann Arbour, Mich. has reached out to the Facebook group "WDYWT?" seeking to trade his pair for a new kidney. "People are always joking that they would give a kidney for a pair of yeezy's!! Well here's your chance," Neal wrote.

Neal says that the wait for a kidney in Michigan can take up to seven years, and U.S. laws prevent him from outright buying, or even trading, for a new one. That's why he's actually seeking to "donate" these Yeezys to anyone who is able to donate the organ.

Things are already beginning to look up, as Neal says his inbox has been flooded with replies and potential donors. Click here if you're interested in reaching out. Good luck, homie, we'll be keeping you in our thoughts.
