Just a week after ending its longtime relationship with adidas, Chelsea FC has signed a new deal with Nike to the tune of $87 million per season.

Bloomberg reports that the new deal between Nike and Chelsea FC is the second highest-paying sponsorship in all of English soccer. The deal kicks in June 2017 and is set to last for at least 10 years.

Furthermore, it's revealed that Chelsea had to pay adidas 50 million euros, or $56.4 million USD, to end their deal early.

The only deal in English soccer that's currently more profitable than this is Manchester United's agreement with adidas, which breaks down to roughly $109 million per season.
