Thus far, Nike's Frankenstein-like "What the" series has been limited to its debut appearance on the SB Dunk Low and its annual Nike Basketball collections, but now it's making its way to a seminal running silhouette: the Air Max 95.

In celebration of the Air Max 95's 20th anniversary, Nike will roll out a number of special edition Quickstrike releases beginning with the hybrid you see above. Previewed by Australia's Sneaker Boy, these are officially known as the "Greedy" Air Max 95s, although the "What the" name is probably more likely to stick. It's composed of four different Air Max 95 colorways that helped make the sneaker what it is today, including its "Neon," "Grape," "Safety Orange," and "Hot Red" styles.

If you can't wait to get your hands on these AM95 mash-ups, they're available now from Sneaker Boy for $240 AUD which converts to $179. Otherwise, we'll let you know when you can expect them to drop stateside.
