It's no secret that Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Nick Young is a massive sneakerhead, but his choice of words during a Twitter Q&A session earlier today may have put his shoe endorsements in jeopardy.

In a now-deleted Tweet, Swaggy P was asked a simple question — Nike or adidas? Instead of keeping it classy, Young responded with "Whoever pay me," but he must have quickly realized the error in his ways as the comment vanished moments later.

Thankfully, Sole Collector was able to screen grab the Tweet, and now we're left wondering if Young will face any consequences for this one. If nothing else, it could have damaged his relationship with one of the brands in question, which means he probably won't be seeing that pay day he was hoping for anytime soon.

Should Nick have bit his tongue on this one, or does he earn points for keeping it 100?
