After months of speculationamongst skate circles, Nike SB has just officially confirmed that legendary skater Guy Mariano is the latest name to join its roster.
Mariano rose to prominence in the mid-'90s after his appearance in Blind's Video Days alongside O.G. skaters like Mark Gonzales and Jason Lee. Since then, he became one of Girl's star riders and later joined Lakai, the brand he parted with ahead of his Nike SB deal.
For skate heads, the prospects of this new deal should be exciting, as we wouldn't be at all surprised if Mariano gets his own signature shoe in the coming months. Stay tuned.
