It's been less than two weeks since reports surfaced that Drake was unhappy with his Jordan Brand deal, with numerous sources telling Sole Collector the rapper is bound for Adidas. While the specifics of a potential new deal remain unclear, Drake's footwear of choice tonight continues to fuel the speculation.
While celebrating longtime friend and OVO assistant Mark Robinson's birthday, Drake posed for group photos, and it was a shot from Robinson's own account that gave a look at what they had on feet. In what could very well be a hint of foreshadowing, Drake and Robinson wore what appears to be Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4 suede combat boots.
Although this particular model isn't an actual Adidas product, the fact that Drake was spotted wearing shoes designed by West could prove to be quite telling. If the Adidas deal comes to fruition, this would put Drake in the company of other high-profile entertainers including West and Pharrell Williams.
