Extra Butter Is Doing Something Awesome for This adidas Collection

adidas is taking you from the sea to the wilderness with a new pack that features the ZX Flux and ZX Trail Mid.

Known as the Vanguard Collection, these sneakers are inspired by adventure and exploration. The ZX Flux gets nautical with a taped seam, neoprene upper that dons the print of a rare species. Its water-friendly features continue with the addition of glow in the dark accents, which, according to adidas, are intended to improve visibility underwater.

Meanwhile, the ZX Trail Mid takes a very different approach by adding rugged overlays and details built to take on the unpredictable outdoors. Equipped with a durable duck canvas and suede upper, the ZX Trail Mid features embroidered patches inspired by survival techniques and famous campgrounds.

Ahead of the Vanguard Collection's official release on September 12, Extra Butter will be hosting a scavenger hunt for 100 pairs of each sneaker, with more information available on its Instagram page. Following that, Extra Butter will drop both pairs a week early on its website. The ZX Flux is priced at $130, while the ZX Trail Mid comes in at $140.
