In a game that featured several of the NBA's brightest stars, it was Drake who managed to steal the spotlight - for sneakerheads at least.
Last night, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Houston Rockets and while most folks were there to see DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, James Harden, and Dwight Howard, many sneakerheads found their eyes fixated on Drake's feet as the star rapper sat courtside next to his buddy, comedian Kevin Hart, in a pair of the much coveted Air Jordan V Retro "Tokyo 23." The pair, which is currently listed on Flight Club, has an current asking price of $5,000 for a size 7 and a size 10. A size 8 can be had for a little less at $4,500.
Released exclusively in Japan in 2011 to celebrate the opening of Jordan Tokyo 23, this Air Jordan V certainly sits atop many collectors' grail lists. Unfortunately, because of its exclusivity and current market value, not too many folks will get a chance to own a pair. It's a problem that Drake certainly doesn't have.
