As the Thunder move on to the next round of the NBA playoffs, Russell Westbook has been rocking his own pair of Air Jordan XX9PEs. Jumpman23 on Twitter took some time out last night to give us a closer look of the very special pair, and we grabbed the photos so you could take a look.
A white and blue elephant print textile covers most of the shoe with orange stripes for contrast. An icy blue outsole creates a base for a white textured midsole that plays off the knit upper. The Jordan Jumpman logo can be seen soaring along the ankle, while “23” and "Jordan" are emblazoned on the heels.
The Jordan XX9 isn’t slated to hit the public until September, so until then we’ll just keep whetting our appetites on pairs like Westbrook’s.
