If you're putting in the time in the elements to get those uber-rare kicks, you need to be prepared for anything. You never know what could happen that might take you away from that quickstrike you've been eyeing since last spring, and nobody is going to want to hear your sob story if you don't get your pair. Check out 10 Essential Items To Bring on a Sneaker Campout.

10. Weapons of Mass Destruction

OK, so maybe not everyone uses umbrellas like Britney Spears, but no matter the weather, if you're camping for kicks, bring an umbrella. If it rains, you'll keep dry. If it's sunny, you'll keep from getting sunburned. And in all honesty, you may just need it to hide your face from the paparrazi (not beat them, Britney).

9. Cameras To Clown Your Friends

You're going to want to document the adventure, so pack a camera. Sure, your iPhone works but if you want to get your coverage on a decent site, take a real camera. Then when your homie falls asleep, the "Imma Sleep Tho" meme you make of him will be top-notch and you'll become internet famous before you even get your sneakers.

8. Bands to Make Her Dance

You won't be able to wear skinny jeans if you carry a big enough knot, but you may be able to buy your way to the front of the line or pay someone to hold your spot when that poor decision for dinner has you running for the port-a-potty. And bet that store takes cash.

7. Instagram Enabled Devices

IPhone, tablet, mini, maxi, or whatever device you choose, be sure to have it with you. Not only will you be able to show off that you're waiting for kicks, you'll also have a way to prove that security guard was being a d*ck. Not to mention you can Twitter with that girl across the country that keeps liking your Instagram pics (it's a sign, bro!).

6. Jay-Z Approved Mobile Power

Ain't no love in the heart of the city, and there ain't no power outlets outside of most stores. You don't have to have the exact extra power source approved by Hov, but it might make you the cool kid in line. Regardless, extra batteries for all your devices is a must.

5. Any Kind of Unhealthy Edibles

Twinkies last forever, bruh. If you stocked up heavy during The Great Twinkie Scare of 2012, take them with you. You're gonna need some pointless calories to tide you over while you put in all the work of sitting on your ass for three days straight.

4. Lazy Man's Best Friend

Nobody looks cool on Instagram when they're sitting on the cold, hard concrete. Don't be that guy. Be the guy that brings an extra chair for all the hotties that will be there camping with you. And be sure to have one with a cupholder, otherwise you just look like a cheap bastard.

3. Snuggies For Everyone

Yep, the one true inspiration for the Snuggie, was for you, sneakerhead campers! How else can you stay warm and still use your iPhone? But for real though, if you're gonna be out all night in the cold, bring some blankets. Nothing tells the ladies "I'm A Lame Sneakerhead" quicker than a sniffly-nosed camper.

2. Bring Some Friends

Having friends is cool, especially if you show up with Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. You're guaranteed to be the life of the campout. Otherwise, just bring your regular-ass friends to keep you company and share some laughs. Worst case scenario, the season one and two DVDs are the best.

1. Lots of Patience

Even The Empire has to wait... for limited releases. Feel free to try the "these are not the sneakers you're looking for" trick on the people at the front of the line, but it probably won't work.
