Last week, Nike dropped its highly anticipated Air Max 97 Ultra collaboration with London Grime artist Skepta, and this week the Swoosh is back with an even bigger collaboration. The world's biggest sportswear brand also gives us another new model from one of its biggest athletes, a new color scheme on a classic 90's hoops shoe, a blinged out version of an iconic runner, a collab with streetwear's biggest brand, and a tech upgrade on one its most important silhouettes of all time.

Adidas also has two big releases lined up for this weekend. The brand is reconnecting with frequent collaborator White Moutaineering for a four-shoe drop featuring revamped versions of the Boston Super and Seeulater Alledo silhouettes in black and olive colorways. Pharrell is also continuing to flood the market with Adidas collabs, as four new tonal colorways of the Tennis Hu are dropping, which match the color palette of his the apparel he recently designed for the U.S. Open.

Under Armour is debuting a Panthers-esque colorway of Cam Newton's C1N trainer just in time for NFL's opening weekend. On the opposite end of the footwear spectrum, Vans is delivering a 12-shoe collaboration with iconic German designer Karl Lagerfeld that utilizes a black and white color palette, and patterns incorporating illustrations of his face.

Without a doubt, Nike has the biggest delivery this week. They are continuing LeBron's "Dunkman" series with the release of the latest colorway of the 14 Low, and are adding a new colorway to the Foamposite archive as well with the release of the "Island Green" Foamposite Pro.

Supreme is shedding light on an often forgotten model from the past by releasing four new colorways of the Air Force 2. Meanwhile, two classic colorways from Nike's history books are getting modern makeovers. The "Silver Bullet" Air Max 97 is releasing in a women's exclusive pair accented with Swarovski crystals, and the "Banned" Air Jordan 1 is trading in its traditional leather upper for Flyknit.

The biggest release of the week has to be the pre-release of the first five pairs from Virgil Abloh's collaborative project with Nike. The first half of the pack including the Air Presto, Blazer, VaporMax, Air Max 90, and Air Jordan 1 will all be available starting Sept. 9 via an exclusive raffle system through Dover Street Market New York and NikeLab 21 Mercer.
